This is NOT true. CA does allow with an endorsement. They also allow you to tow if your licensed state allows it. I am SD and I have towed several times in CA. I took a chance and towed from PalmSprings, CA to NW WA mostly along I-5. I passed several LEO's and even had one in WA slowly pass me along I-5. Now is it legal in WA and OR? The answer is NO. Will they pull you over if towing Double in those States, who knows. I will keep doing it as long as I have no issue. I do have a backup plan if need be. It saves me $500 each way not having my MC Transported.
