telescoping ladder?

My wife got one at Walmart and it's a good one but you do have to watch your fingers...

I ordered one from Amazon that I love. There were a bunch that looked to be basically the same, so I just ordered it. You do have to watch your fingers closing it, but just be aware and you should be fine.

It's great for sweeping the debris off of the slides.

I don't know what kind I have, but it has spacer blocks between the steps so you don't smash your fingers; and it has red and green indicators to tell you if each individual step is locked or not (one on each side of each step). I've never had an issue with it.

Look where the ladder will rest against the RV, there is a possibility of damage especially where a segment end might contact roofing material.

The ladder we have is from Amazon and it has worked very well. Holds more than I weigh, extends past the top of my motorhome, and I wrapped old carpet around it then secured it with velcro so I can move the carpet to where it contacts the roof.

This one also has spaces so you can use it without pinching the fingers. If you work at it you can still pinch them if you desire.

Love it and it stores very well.

All of them are designed, with release buttons on the front

Getting fingers mashed, is operator error, not keeping fingers out of the way
All have specific instructions about hand placement when closing

I guess if you have beefy meaty hands, you have to be really careful not to have your palm or maybe the thumb web area over lapping a spot that is going to get pinched

I have an 'extend a stay' brand, and really like it

I think 'tele steps' was the first one, and still one of the best

Or you could just use a small ladder and the picnic table....:S

I bought an X Tend 780P a couple of years ago. Although I haven't used it that much the few times I have it's served me very well. :B

I got basically the same - telescoping ladder

It has a safety feature to dummy it down for me.. no finger pinching !
