I have used Eternabond for anything that needs to be stuck together. The front wall in my TH was a single piece of 4x8 luan board that would flex and pull the cheap staples out. So I removed it, wrapped the studs in Eternabond (sticky side up), put the board back, stapled it...viola...no more wall falling down...
