Glad to see this thread. I've been telling my Weber story to everyone that I can. I have a 15 year old Genesis (among 5 other Weber grills). The stainless burners on my Genesis rusted through when it was a year past the 10 year warranty. I was calling them with a few questions and they offered me new burners at no charge ($60). Never had that happen with any other type of product.
Today, I received delivery of our new Weber Q 2200. It came with a broken piece out of the box. They asked no questions...sending me the new piece.
I just told my wife that (at age 45) I'll never have to buy another grill for camping. She replied that we'll have our Genesis that long too. I have no doubt.
