If your door and window seals are good, your roof isn't leaking, and the snow is fairly dry, having three or more feet against the trailer is just "instant skirting", IMO. I raked off about two feet from my roof, last year and that was a mild Winter.
I know some of you NE'ers are getting hammered, this year. Just think of it, nostalgically, as one of those good old fashioned Winters. I do remember the drift at my folk's house in RI was up to the gutters, one year. We had many years of sledding on the road and skating all Winter (it was just a good old fashioned Winter,lol)
