The Biggest Marketing Scam Success in the RV world

It seems to me that as a group (RV'ers) we are uniquely targeted and susceptible to some of the most clever Marketing ploys to get us to spend money on needless things that are of questionable utility...

Good grief! I never expected the response of so many regarding the Flamingos.

I had to laugh.

It's just that they are such a passe 80's sort of Gay icon decorative item (no insult intended here) that went out with Reagan.

Much better to have those very cool rice paper lanterns from Laos that I brought back in the 90's and are now all the rage.

They are Retro-Passe and for that they deserve a place in our fondest memories...if not our campsites.
