All I use is toilet paper labeled "septic safe". Our campground doesn't like regular household toilet paper, as depending on the brand, it does not break down as fast and results in more maintenance on our drain fields.
What I will do is put several sheets of TP in a bottle, let it sit for about 20 minutes and give it a gentle shake. If it dissolves, no problem.
