So, is it really the industry that has a marketing scam going? Or is it simply people making choices and then trying to justify them at every opportunity?
My dealer and service department ran down the OP's list, almost verbatim. They worked especially hard on the sway control and weight stributing hardware, must be a lot of margin there.
