I rarley go for camping 4-5 days at at time.
It's not that it needs to disolve instantly. It just needs to break up enough to not plug the drain valve.
I agree the RV stuff is a waste of money. But, you just have to check to make sure what you are using is not going to plug things up.
You don't want to put Kleenex down your toilet either. Not in your RV or your house.
The one other thing that should not be disposed of in holding tank or any system are the wet wipes now being hyped as absolutely nesacarey. Many towns are now working to ban them because they clog municipal systems.
I rarely go camping less than 4-5 days.:B
