It must be that we normally avoid the holiday weekends and typically arrive on the Monday for the week. This time we came early. Has anyone noticed the campers who evidently get great joy from riding ...

You will find me making a loop of the campground 1-2-3 times per day...but on my bike. That's how I get my low impact exercise.
But as far as driving around the RV park in the car? I think the only ones that do that generally are the camp hosts that are making sure people leave when they should, check on trouble spots, address maintenance issues. Maybe their golf cart was in the shop?
BTW, I've discovered that with the exception of holiday weekends, Sunday afternoon is also a great day to arrive at a park. Everyone heads back home on Sunday leaving the parks mostly empty. So I often plan my stays so I travel on Sunday. If I can't, than I want to arrive at a park Tues-Thurs.
Not this Labor day weekend of course, but generally.
