I'm glad you asked that question, Eagle.
It's Horsepower to weight ratio that gets you up the mountain quickly. Yes, that 1,650 ft pounds of torque allows you to generate the 465 HP but if the higher horsepower trucks are loaded with weight, it won't matter how many horses they have. You'll beat them.
And, BTW, your 465 horses are more than most company owned 18 wheelers out there. Owner operators probably operate around 500-550 HP.
