I heard an interview with Andy Thompson from Can Am RV and he talked about riding in tow cars using the dolly while his dad was driving...he said that they would tend to throw the car around...I can see that.
He said that using a WD hitch is a better option as it gives a much smoother ride and much more control without all the throwing around of the car.

Well it look like it would have solved the over cargo weight problem I had with my last truck. Bought a bigger truck instead.
