- Me_AgainExplorer IIIWashington State has lots of well maintained logging roads that RV's could navigate. Might want scout a bit in TV or toad first.
Find an old landing at the top of a mountain and enjoy the view! Except for hunting season you will not see many people. Well except a green DNR truck. Chris - beemerphile1Explorer

I often, not always, seek solitude and I've been to a bunch of fairly remote places in several states. However, there's almost always someone at least driving by....
Yep, anywhere there is a road there will be people.
I don't think the idyllic place the OP seeks exists near any roads the typical RV can travel.
I've hiked on foot way back in the brush and still had other hikers pass by. I have found solitude for hours, never days or weeks although I imagine the places do exist. - MootpointExplorerThe way other drivers cut me off and zip around me....anywhere on I5. I seem to become invisible to others when I hitch up the rig.
- TexasShadowExplorer IIas skipnchar said, if we post the locations of our favorite hideaways, they won't be so isolated anymore. find your own :)
- Cloud_DancerExplorer IIGlad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't like people....:B:B:B

hey, don't be telling him stuff like that about eastern Oregon. We have had it nice a quiet for many years and we like it this way. we are a nice place to visit, just don't move here. That is what a Governor of Oregon told the people of Calif many years ago.
LOL that's what Washintonians say too. hehe - JnJnKatiebugExplorerIf you are coming thru Western AR on I-40, pm me and I will give you a couple of my spots. 16 miles north of I-40, all paved road except the last 1/2 mile in the NF. I took my 39 MH in there this fall, I did have to trim a few limbs. As long as it is not after a big rain you are good to go. You will see very few people unless it is Deer Season.
I will only shared with a very few out of state people who will agree to keep it to themselves.
The paved road.
The last half mile.
Dead end of the road. - donkeydewExplorerno matter where i stop with in an hour i will have a new neighbor with multi children and four barking dogs, doesn't matter if its the middle of a desert or the top of a mountain.
