Before I bought my TT, I did the hotel thing. Brought a suitcase, plopped it on a chair, changed my clothes, etc.
Problem is that since 2012 or so, bedbugs went from something that was a menace overseas to being a big issue here.
Since I wind up RV-ing at least 30 nights a year, and have been doing so for quite some time, it costs me about $25-50 a night for the RV, although groceries, fuel for the generator and furnace do add significantly there, but not as much as eating out would.
My current rig is too big for much other than the renaissance faire I do stuff at. However, a class "B" would be used a lot more often, bringing the cost per day to something quite reasonable.
