Had the dealer do them every spring and every fall. I do one too just prior to the first trip of the spring/summer. But, it looks like a branch got me probably in early June, and then we had one of the wettest summers ever, where it wasn't noticed until I saw the faint wall ripples in late Sept. Yes, the new one will have a ladder for sure, and I will be looking at the roof every few days of use!
