I am always amazed by the amount of worry folks express about their gear being stolen. How many have actually, personally had something stolen while camping? Please restrict yourselfs to person...

1987 had our firewood stolen...there were young tent campers about two sites down from us.
Not camping but at the Falcon State Park boat ramp our new Suburban was parked with boat trailer. I got in to go pick up boat and BOTH side mirrors were stolen. They had the directional arrows on them. Our friends were parked right next to us in their Suburban, one year older without the directional arrows, and their mirrors were still on.
(I had to back the trailer in the old fashioned way!)
