Depending on which source of statistics you choose, roughly 2% of dwellings are burglarized each year. (FBI numbers are low, you get much higher numbers from companies that sell alarms - who knows why).
I would expect the incidence to be similar for people in campgrounds. Obviously, if you are comparing deep in the boonies with close to a big city you would expect different rates.
