In Dec we were using our ST hot spot for 2 weeks at a SP. Went to a commercial CG the week of New Years. Thought we would give the HS a rest. Asked the lady when we checked in if wifi was good at our site. " yes there is a repeater right next to your site ".
You could eventually log onto wifi but it was worse than dial up, even at 7am or midnight. So back to the ST HS. We did notice they offered an individual / private modem option for rent if you wanted " faster " service. I agree they should not advertise something they really do not have.
