Really, some of these comments are sad.
First, for most products, there is a minimum standard recognized. For example, with a car wash, there IS a minimum expectation that the car will be cleaner than when it went in. If the car is extremely dirty to begin with, the wash may not remove all the dirt, but it is expected to be significantly cleaner. If the car wash does not meet that minimum requirement, they have not met the requirements of their product advertisement regardless of whether it was done by hand or not.
Second, blaming customers for "ruining it" for the rest is ridiculous. If no one can get on the free advertised wifi then what exactly has been ruined.
The truth is, at this point in time, "free wifi" means nothing. There is no minimum standard. It is not just RV Parks, hotels have been doing this for years now and still haven't developed a standard for what it means. Until people start expecting a minimum standard, it will mean nothing to anyone.
Think if electrical hookups had no minimum standard. You stay at the park because it offers electrical hookups, but when you arrive, the pedestal trips as soon as you turn on a single light in the RV. Are you really going to say "well, they DO have electrical hookups even if I can't use it, so I guess they met their requirements"?? Of course not, you're going to complain because the power isn't sufficient to run your fridge, tv, lights, heat, A/C, microwave, etc.
