Mother in law was the proud new owner of the Yeti (12 hours old). I commented about maybe locking it up that day. I think it actually attracted the attention of the thieves. I am glad that they only took what they did; however, I think they only took what they could carry. My $60 coleman cooler was too cheap and too heavy to take. We did report the theft to the ranger and he filed a report. Another camper across from us saw a group of 20 year olds walking around the campground at 1 am without flashlights or shirts that night. I'm sure it was them but what can you do? The other camper said he felt bad that he did not report them or confront them. I told him don't feel bad as his safety might have been comprised. There was no cell phone reception in the campground so he couldn't have called the ranger. He did say that he was going to buy some Harbor Frieght surveillance cameras after this event to record his campsite.
