I've found that el cheapo $8 Styrofoam coolers work well enough for a weekend. Since coolers get dirty, if I need better than the cheapies, I'll just hit Wally World for a Coleman where if it gets lost/stolen/broken, it will be annoying but not a major hit to the pocketbook.
I've never understood paying the price for a Yeti cooler. For the bigger coolers for storing deer meat, it might be understandable. However, for other uses, I see them mainly as a status symbol.
