- TOMMY47ExplorerOLD BISCUIT---Since I haven't a clue as to their problem, I doubt my guidance would be helpful..
hey really don't need a motel since they have an RV to sleep in.
Charity--food bank? I don't even know where they are in my area.
I guarantee they have a better phone than I do.
I help folks out all the time but sometimes it can't be done. You're also assuming these folks are penniless and foodless.
What they seem to need is a major repair which is way beyond a friendly comment. - Tom_NExplorerTo level all he has to do is come up 3 or 5 links on his chains.

Does the Sport Trac even have a frame? - Caveman_CharlieExplorer IISure, that may not have been enough truck but, I don't see how it could have done that on flat ground. Looks to me more like they lost control and ended up in the ditch and that how it got bent. That may also be the reason why they are looking under the hood.
- BigdogExplorerOf course, on the other hand, you can get the reverse. Several years ago, I was coming back across Wyoming from Denver and was passed by a 1 ton Ford dually towing an Airstream Scamp on the bumper doing over 80. He had Indiana plates and the sign on the truck door said it was someone's rv delivery company.

Exactly what help could be provided? Drop your trailer and tow theirs? A couple grand for a fix? Buy them a new truck?
I wouldn't have a clue on what they needed or how it could be fixed.
A little friendly guidance.
A ride to a local motel.
A ride to local charity.......food bank depending on needs.
A offer to call some one for them.
Just a friendly face.
Amazing what just stopping and asking "Can I Help You" does for those in a 'situation'
Folks on here might have an impression of me.......
BUT I will stop and offer help to anyone. - TOMMY47ExplorerExactly what help could be provided? Drop your trailer and tow theirs? A couple grand for a fix? Buy them a new truck?

They probably will go another 3,000 miles that way with no problem.
And they are probably related to this guy that was parked next to me at a CG.
:B
Wow! And this guy HAS a WDH!
And believed the dealer knew how to set it up, or is certain he didn't need to scale the combination to set it up properly, or felt he could carry a quarter cord of firewood in the rear cargo area!
Kidding aside, I'm always concerned these folks do not understand the potential hazards they are to their and their family's safety and to the safety of fellow motorists. I'd favor implementation of a required driver's license endorsement for towing. - coolbreeze01ExplorerLooks like the people at Wally are in a fix. Sorry for any little kids involved.
