Threads in drain screwed into fresh water tank

I have a leak right where my shut off valve screws into the fresh water tank. I have a new one rebuilt but I am wondering what to put on the threads to seal it. It is black abs plastic. Will thread ta...

I used the paste when installing new fittings in my FW tank .. use it every year on the Atwater hot water fitting as well.
