I tried the Timbrens on my '03 2500 Dodge/Cummins 2wd but ran into rear suspension issues. The Timbrens on my 2wd 2500 were only 3" long. This caused a very short compression stroke and a very violent rebound with a load. Ride unloaded was just like stock as the Timbrens had a 1" gap before contacting.
My neighbor has the same truck in a 4x4 which increased the Timbrens length to 7". Her truck rides great loaded or un loaded.
I gave up the Timbrens and went with the SuperSprings which work like the Helwigs. I now have a great riding truck loaded or empty.
If your truck can use the longer Timbren you shouldn't have any issues.
