Hellwig vs Timbrens

Just looking for some responses from those that have used these and your likes and dislikes. Thanks!
  • I've got Timbrens on mine and I like them. Put them on and forget about them.
  • Another vote for the Timbrens,2013 Ram 1500.Like them alot.Like he said, install and for get.Don't even feel them until I back under the 5er.
  • I installed Timbrens on a 2012 Silverado 1500 and was pleased with the results after I added a spacer that Timbren provided for free. Still have the Timbrens but not using them on my 2500HD.
  • My vote is the Hellwigs.. I had these on my 97 F150 and it made a huge difference in just being able to haul stuff in the bed of the truck.. I went from hitting the bump stops with only around #1000 in the bed to hauling that same #1000 and hardly looking like it was loaded at all... ;)

It stiffened up the ride some, but for the better, as the stock suspension was way too soft.

Since I haven't used the Timbrens before, I can't say how they compare, but if I need something for the 13 F150, I'll be looking Hellwig again..

    Good luck,

    Mitch
  • I have used Timbrens for approximately 10 years and I think they are great.

    Not much else to say.

You never know they're there until you hitch up.

I much prefer Timbrens to the air bags I had on my Ram.
  • Thanks everyone, I appreciate the information.
