And for what it is worth, I'm not a bit surprised the manufacturer would put on absolutely the cheapest tires he could get his hands on, even if those were barely rated adequate for the load. Remember, they can charge you extra for the trailer if it has a microwave, or TV, or full-size queen bed. But getting a couple bucks extra out of you for tires . . . well, you gotta have tires anyway.
hmmmm I never thought about the mileage difference. Though I'm sure if I actually kept air in the damn things they might roll a little easier too. lol
That's a fascinating factoid about the rolling resistance/extra gas mileage difference between radial and bias-ply tires...I'd be most interested to see any independent links supporting it. 23% is HUGE!
