Kumho 857 is a commercial, LT tire, designed and sold for vehicles like cargo delivery vans, and also rated as a trailer tire ( as all LT tires are).
The Kumho is one of the few tires in the 14" size that we can buy in north America that is a true LT tire. In other markets, such as europe, UK, and Pac rim countries, 14" rims are still common on these types of vehicles.
The 857 is not a ST tire. ST tires are not rated for vehicles that carry human passengers. That is why ST tire have molded into the sidewalls, "for trailer use only".
