I'm kinda taken back with some of the comments here. He wants his privacy, give it to him and respect him of it. Seems like a lot of pouting because people weren't invited in his inner circle of close friends to read his private blog.

If you had been like many here, and regularly followed George's travels and travails, over the last decade, your take on the tone of this thread would be very different. Far from disrespecting his privacy, or pouting because he took his blog off-line, I think you missed out on the fact that many of us were deeply concerned, as he went through a very difficult, and bizarre time. He chose to expressed a lot of his troubled thinking in additional blogs he created. I had engaged him privately, over the years, and found similar issues, that made me give up on communicating with him. I hope he is well, and with friends who can keep an eye on his well being.
