That's what I do, it's a BIG help. I used to have a helluva time till I painted the path of the tires of the trailer when I pulled it out, now I know as long as my tires are on that line backing in I'm good.
I have to back down an alley to get our trailer into the back yard, truck and trailer are over 50 ft long and the alley is only 20 feet wide, it's a tight fit, I need to cut it REALLY close to the gate on the inside (within a foot) and have at least my wife helping me and my son if he's around. He watches the back of the trailer, making sure I don't hit the garage, my wife watches the side and my front end of my truck, making sure I don't hit the fence across the alley as I swing it. My wife and I have been doing this a long time, she's a great spotter.
