Tips needed-backing up on the passenger's side.

I guess this is a spin-off from the other thread on backing up the trailer. My previous parking spots I always could turn from the driver's side and never had a problem backing up long or short trail...

I don't know if you can with your truck, but with my dodge the center consul folds up. I would slide over the middle seat almost to the passenger seat and drive from there. It helped me see that side a lot better. Once I got more experienced I didn't need to do it anymore.
