Tips on acclimating the family to longer road trips

Personally I see no advantage. Probably will cost you a lot of money to do the trade. Kids need to be seat belted while traveling so there is no advantage there. Stick a computer game in their hands and they will stay occupied.

Most people that I know that went from a 5er to a MH went back to a 5er.

As far as driving your truck will be more stable than the MH unless you buy a high end class A.
