Tips on acclimating the family to longer road trips

Nobody mentioned it so I'll throw it up there....travel at night. I've done it on a few occasions while traveling with family. You can put on some significant miles at night when there is lesser traffic and the family is sleeping. At daybreak, find a relaxing spot for the family and get some ZZZ's.
