My kids grew up without laptops or portable hand held toys. We made games with the alphabet on signs, then on license plates. a little reading, and many stops. Think about the ones on the wagon trains who had nothing and moved 10 miles a day. When I got a T&C van with built-in DVD my oldest Granddaughter said this car is Grandchild approved.
