I went from a travel trailer to a Class A and found it to be much easier with my two girls. For starters, they aren't sitting two feet behind my ears anymore. As everyone has mentioned already, all kids want to do nowadays is watch videos and play on their electronic displays. Still, the long driving days can be hard so here's what I do.
I make sure the coach is setup for travel the night before we go. If you are leaving from home, make sure everyone is sleeping in the coach. If you are on the road, get a pull through site assuming you are pulling a toad.
Then get up as early as you can stand it and drive while everyone is sleeping. For me, that's about 6:00 in the morning. By noon, I can have 360 miles under my belt and the family is happy to have slept in and taken it easy. Alternatively, drive at night.
If you are worried about your family sleeping in a moving coach, I'd suggest installing netting like the commercial truck drivers use on their sleeper cabs while team driving. They are very safe.
