But a little common sense and reasoning tells me it's worth covering them up. If someone can prove that it doesn't then I have a peace of mind for penny's in cost.
I even pull the blinds and cover the windshield with that reflective bubble stuff when in storage.

You bet ... but it's MUCH cheaper to use a piece of Reflectix rather than vinyl tire covers that cost WAY too much and will only deteriorate themselves over time. :( I protect the tires on just the one side of our trailer exposed to the sun all day when parked here at the house, the opposite side is always in shade so there's no advantage in covering them.
