Per the tire people I deal with DONOT use any tire dressing.
Many tire people are dealing with old knowledge. They are not aware that many tire dressing companies changed their formula to no longer harm tires. That's why companies like Mequiars uses a water based tire dressing now with UV protection. If it doesn't come off with water, I would use it.
