Tire manufacture date marking
A new set of Maxxis tires were installed on our fifth wheel trailer today. I couldn't find the usual code for the manufacture date. The only code was 20ZD (I think). Have the date codes changed?

There are 2 ways to look at it. On the outside it's easier to read. But on the inside it protects it from getting ground off from curbs, although that shouldn't be an issue on a trailer.
If you are grinding off the date code that is near the rim and actually indented into the tire you won't have the tires long enough to worry about the date!
I did have them mount my date codes to the outside on my new Motorcycle trailer tires.
