Tire pressure should be set according to load they are carrying, as such when you are not towing it is fine to adjust psi for a comfortable ride. When planning to tow, for better handling and to increase tire's carrying capacity, psi should be set for added weight of RV or to max psi as stated on sidewall. We do the same thing from time to time, our TV is dedicated to hauling our TT around and most times psi is usually at or near max psi.
