Yes it's a good idea if they have the tires you want at a price you'll pay. Over the years we have purchased tires from Costco, Samsclub, Walmart, and Discount Tire without any issues. With the exception of Discount Tire we just did some shopping while tires were installed killing two birds with one stone.
Just like anything else we purchase we shop around for the best deal from a reputable retailer and whoever has the best out the door price gets our business. It's similar to when we are looking for RV products, I would like to purchase them from Camping World as I enjoy this forum they provide. Alas, it is a rare instance that we do with their pricing and shipping charges.
