If the NEW Carlisle has the NEW Nylon cap, what makes you think that it is the end all solution to ST tire problems when the GY Marathon got the same Nylon cap years ago. And none of the bunch of 35 pounders compare head to head with the much heavier constructed Maxxis so please do not trout that comparison of the Nylon cap!
Simple fact is the NEW Carlisle and NEW Towmax have not yet proven their strips YET! Only time and miles will do that.
And the Bass boat deal is a MARKETING program, not a testimonial of quality!

We have discussed this before. The weight issue doesn't translate to reliability. Fast Eagle has pointed this out. A three inch nail through the tread and out the sidewall will blow a tire regardless of weight.
