Good call by Gjac and Grit Dog.
I've plugged more tires than I've changed. This goes for the truck, trailer, and off-road car. I've plugged plenty of holes in the RV tires, but I've never had to use the spare (knock on wood).
In our off-road cars, the holes can be massive. All our friends stand around to help and laugh at you while they guess how many plugs it's going to take to finish the hole: "Think he needs a sixth plug in there?"
Every one of our vehicles has a plug kit in it. The Chinese kits are dirt cheap on Amazon now. Just throw away the plugs that come with the kits and use Black Jack plugs instead.
