Not sure what you base this on? My TrailerAid Plus works just fine with leaf suspension on my FW. I don't need added wood under the TA, like pictured. It does work great on my 26' enclosed sled trailer with torsion too.

I needed wood under my last MobileSuites mentioned above also. IMHO it's unsafe and more weight using a bottle jack.
