Or me, either, for that matter. But I wouldn't hesitate to drop kick and/or "bonk" any animal that was threatening me , my Grandkids, or my own leashed pet.
And I'd point out that the law would likely only be on the side of bonkin' the dog- can you imagine explaining to the LEO why you bashed a person instead of the dog that was goin' after you??? Assault charges, here we come!
