An Airstream will have better resale value by percentage than a motorhome .
One of our buddies has one and he tows it with a brand new f150 ecoboost .
An airstream typically does not have a slideout .
My current setup is a 21T Komfort Non-slide towed by a Duramax pickup .
Our trailer is taller and wider and a couple of feet shorter than his .
With the duramax diesel I can go uphill faster than he can .
I have bigger brakes than he does .
I have more headroom and cargo space .
I get better fuel mileage while towing than he does .
My radiator is bigger and my setup handles better .
We purchased our setup new a dozen years ago .
It works great for trips when we are on the go for several days in a row .
Minimal setup , able to park in a commercial area zone , while enroute without raising fuss , or alongside a lake at a boat ramp , and we will pull off during the day at a viewpoint for lunch and a short nap .
I had a 36 foot diesel pusher motorhome immediately prior .
I hated towing the toad .
For us any diesel pickup towing a good trailer without a slide works best .
