To old to pull that big rig.

Is 70 years to old to pull that big trailer or 5th wheel you bought 10 years ago. Your eyes are weak, you are slower, the hearing not so good anymore. Maybe time to down size. What do you the American male do, should I get a smaller unit now. Or buy a bigger insurance policy.
They move so fast and I can't get started so quit. They cut in front of me so quick, should I do the same. Maybe a larger RV will give me more power on the streets. What should I do.

Or learn to drive by sound. Honking horns means something is wrong.....
  • As you age, you should buy a big motorhome. Everyone avoids a senior citizen in a large vehicle.

  • pack up the rv,take a short ceuise, and watch yourself. your body will tell you if its time to down size or give it up .
  • I think the "hearing being not so good" is a bonus.
I don't have to listen to the boom box's when I pull up at a red light !

  • Like danoren said, all 70's are not alike. Some are very capable of driving whatever they want, and some are not. Only you, and maybe your doctor, really know. Ask your wife or good friend.
  • It is actually all about how YOU feel and IF you can handle it, I am sure that you have enough experience to know if you can pull this rig safely or not.
Not one 70 old is like another 70 old...
