Sorry I had to pass you on the right, I could see that annoyed look on your face. You pulled into the left lane with all of the other traffic passing that idiot with the unsecured load of furniture in the back of his pick up with one strap on it and his flashers on at 50 mph...As we approached the long hill, everybody else but you pulled back into the right lane, but you couldn't...because you had no towing mirrors and couldn't see anything in the right lane. I came up behind you at the 70 mph speed limit but you couldn't see me....with the trans kicked down to 3rd and the TC locked, I could easily maintain speed going uphill....as long as I didn't have to take my foot off of the gas. The right lane was clear so I used it.Do yourself a favor and get yourself a good set of mirrors so you can see who else is on the highway with you when you are towing. Hope you had a great camping weekend, we did!

I love having my rear view camera. Better than mirrors I think.

Definitely my pet peeve. 99 percent of the drivers feel they have a god given right to drive in the left lane no matter what speed they travel and never look in the mirrors if they have them.

Depending on the state I may never leave the left lane. I've already had one kidney transplant, I don't need another one because someone forgot to maintain the highway.

Now to be sincere, I'll stick to the the right when I can. There are some places, Canon City, Co to be exact, that I will go through town in the left lane because the right is very cambered and bumpy. Going through Pueblo on highway 50, I'll stick to the middle lane. I even have some dash camera footage of me going through Pueblo, Co where I wasn't slowing anyone down. At least no one came barrelling in from either the right or left lane to get in front of me.

I usually stay to the right except when passing, the one exception is the Cimmaron Turnpike in OK. The right lane is so rough I thought there was something wrong with my truck at one point, I'll cruise in the left lane until someone comes up behind me then I will move over to let them pass. OK should be paying us to drive on that road.

Geez guys! Take a deep breath and relax! Lots of testy people today.I hate left lane hoggers as much as anybody and I cant blame the OP for passing him when he had the chance. Do what I do,flash lights,blow horn,run em off road,then flash the "Jersey Salute" when passing.Had no right being out there.If he had a Diesel he would not have been in that lane. The guy probably camps at a Wal-Mart and lets his Dog poo in another campers spot anyway.And lets his kids run all over the place messing up the restrooms.And I probably don't agree with his politics!.......Ok, I feel better now,carry on!:W
