X2 - Mr_Mark1ExplorerRayChez.... yep, you are exactly right. We need to know if the OP has a gas or diesel as the two systems (M&G and Air Force One) work off of the air brakes on a diesel coach.
MM. - RayChezExplorerWell, First of all you do not post whether you have a gasoline coach or diesel, it makes a difference on what to recommend. But if you have a diesel I would recommend the M&G brake system. It only costs around 5-6 hundred dollars for the kit and you will activate the brakes on your toad at the same time your press the brakes on the coach.
Now I have a Brake Buddy and have used it for thirteen years. I had one problem with it, but the company fixed it back up. Great folks to work with. Brake Buddy will work with either gas or diesel motor homes. - Mr_Mark1ExplorerWe had the M & G system put on our '07 Honda CR-V. I was going to have the same one put on our '13 but Honda redesigned the engine compartment making the M & G a major effort to put on (it could be done).
The installer suggested the Air Force One and it has worked great just like the M & G. You might need to check with your installer to see which is best for your application.
Safe travels,
MM. - koda55ExplorerWe use the M&G engineering brake system. Just hook up the air line hose. Nothing to hook up to the brake pedal.

Our ReadyBrute Elite tow bar has an integrated ReadyBrake auxiliary brake system. The ReadyBrake system is entirely mechanical, so there are no electronics, motors, or compressors to fail. It's also fully proportional and after the initial installation only requires snapping on a cable to hook up. We've used ours for about 6 years now, and it's been very reliable and maintenance free.

I will never go back to a system with electronics. - WILDEBILL308Explorer III have an older Brake Buddy that I bought used for about $200.00. That is the one I like. Never had a bit of trouble.
Bill - Two_HandsExplorerIt took me a few minutes to figure out the meaning of your posting moniker. Pretty cool. Welcome to the forum.
