Does anybody have the hitch pin in the checklist? :)
I have the hitch pin in my checklist because I was worried that I would forget it. I trust my checklist more than my memory.

Always do checklist. Last time we did not, we drove without the lights plugged in for hours! - tomkaren13Explorer

That tire would have been smoking for a long while before the wheel started dragging. After the tire was gone there probably would have been sparks as metal bits were hitting the pavement. The wheel itself probably wouldn't spark.

Thanks for proving at least ONE of my points! :B
But the fact is people often dont want to hear the truth.

- nevadanickExplorerI wish i was perfect.
- eheadingExplorerI agree with others who have said that we shouldn't have a holier than thou attitude. When I see where someone has made a big boo boo, I just say to myself, "there but for the grace of God, go I". After RVing for 48 years with a wide variety of trailers and motorhomes, there aren't many mess ups I haven't done at least once. I am VERY capable of messing up, whether I have a checklist or not.
