toilet paper ....

So ... what is the consensus on tp? I have read several different things..... use 1 ply, use regular ole charmin, use rv tp. I know some people who do not flush any tp at all. Any advice on this important subject matter ? ;)

And, lets not talk about the people that put used toilet paper in the trash can. :E

x2. Septic safe works for us.

  • I use the same as I did in my s&b before I was full time. Use lots of water and don't give it a second thought.
  • You could experiment with whatever you choose by putting some in a glass jar filled with water. Shake it a bit, if you want to simulate transport. Observe what happens to the TP.

  • I like it soft, fluffy and a big wad.

TP along with stuff gets flushed down a 3" line and then dumped out of a 3" line.

Water & gravity carries the whole stuff down roughly a 3 foot drop into the tank.
That is way more water then what carries the stuff down a 30-50 foot residential sloped line.

Then when tank is full...water weight, gravity and sudden rush of the liquids carries the stuff down a 4-5 foot dump line.

    RVs are not complicated........K.I.S.S.

Use what TP YOU like. I do! And have NEVER had a problem with TP, Poop Pyramid, Clogged Pipes or Odor.
  • Normal toilet paper don't even give it a thought. Well I don't at any rate been RVing for well over thirty years. Had every kind of toilet you can think of no problems with any of them.
