Toilet Question

I notice that many of these dometic toilets come with something called "hand spray."

What exactly is a hand spray? I'm imagining some kind of wand that allows you to clean the bowl when you're done? Is this a plus or something to not really worry about?

I'm looking at the 310 model as an example.

    We use ours all the time. Really helps to clean toilet bowl with less water. You can use a kitchen sink sprayer if you cannot find one made for the job. Most toilets come with a connection for the sprayer already built in.

    The hand spray units were added after many requests by the "man of the house". It is used to help us wash down the 14 miles of toilet paper that women need to "do their business".

    Hand sprayer would be handy if you don't have good water pressure so your bowl doesn't get a good flush with the foot or hand pedal. Not much purpose otherwise.

    LOL at Ranger, that was my second guess, that it was to wash your hands. I was thinking, "Gee why would I want to wash my hands over the toilet."

    I guess if you ran out of paper it would come in handy.

    Maybe on those smaller trailers where the toilet is in the shower.. Might work :)

    You are correct. Nothing to worry about. It does come in handy for cleaning the bowl.

    I don't know how they do it but some folks use the sprayer as a bidet. To me it seems like you would end up with water everywhere.
